Mario Bruni

“We are extremely proud of this important recognition declared Mario Bruni.

“Producing, enhancing and making the goodness of our land known throughout the world is a source of great pride”. Doing it as a Calabrian and also making our beautiful territory known, little known internationally, gives us a winning combination ”

From the “Melissa” bottle produced by his grandfather in 1934 to the last born, “Mari Giù”. How much emotion do you feel?

“We gave the new bottle the name Mari Giù, dedicated to the recent birth of my eldest daughter who represents the fifth generation. Maybe it’s in the DNA, to do research and experiment in our area and bring out the best of our production potential, with technological and innovative methods but always respecting ancient traditions”.

In your opinion, what differentiates Calabrian wine from the others that are produced in Italy?

“The terroir and the climate are very important in the production of wines, and as we all know our sun with the influence of the sea frost characterize the structure and minerality of our wines”
